Session 1

The Invitation to Discipleship - Lonnie Beachy

To disciple others you need to first be a disciple. This introductory topic explores the greater purpose of discipleship, that of first becoming a disciple of Jesus. Discipleship without a greater purpose of following Jesus lacks purpose and direction. Possible scriptures could include Matthew 4:19, Luke 9:23-27.

Session 2

Discipleship, The Vision of ADC - Mark Miller

If people are to develop a passionate relationship with God and become effective laborers in His Kingdom, discipleship must be intentional and relational as we speak into one another’s lives. This approach is inherently risky because each generation must personally embrace and carry the vision forward. This session will explore historical ways the church has passed the faith to the next generation and why discipleship remains one of the essential pillars for a living, relevant faith.

Session 3

Making Disciples in your World - Lonnie Beachy

This session will challenge participants to see discipleship as an active calling in their everyday world. Looking at the Great Commission and the continuing story of the church—sometimes described as “Acts 29”—we will explore what it means to live as disciple-makers wherever God has placed us. “Go means GO,” and this session will inspire practical ways to intentionally invest in others and help the next chapter of God’s work unfold through our lives.

Session 4

Rethinking Discipleship - Mark Miller

Rethinking Discipleship challenges us to reconsider what it truly means to follow Jesus. While Christians are often known for what they oppose, Jesus called His followers to become like Him and to help others do the same. This talk explores the biblical meaning of discipleship, the cost of truly following Christ, and the everyday calling for every believer to live as a disciple who makes disciples. I John 2:6
